Halfords Head Office is in Redditch (10 miles South East of Birmingham) and is home to 650 people all focused on supporting the efficient operation of our stores.

It’s a uniformly open plan environment so you’re never far from a decision maker and we’re also fairly relaxed in the way we dress, preferring comfort to formality. Don’t let that fool you though, all of the business areas are highly commercial in the way they operate and the one thing that everyone comments on is the pace at which we work.

Perhaps that’s something to do with the fact that it’s a very flat structure and there are short decision cycles. This means that not only do we positively encourage good ideas, if you can back them up, we’re happy to trial things and, if they prove successful, roll them out to stores at a breathtaking pace.
