Requirements

This is a fast-track development scheme, and a degree is obviously a must. Your subject of study won't be a factor in your selection, although you will need a 2:2 or above and some previous customer facing experience, as well as a desire to pursue a career in Buying or Marketing.

What we're more interested in though is the way you tackled your degree and why. We'll also be looking at what you did during your time off, and where you’ve picked up some customer focused work experience as well as how you've tackled the challenges you've encountered so far.

There's no such thing as a Halfords person. But there are a few key characteristics that we all share. If you want to be one of us, you'll need to share them too. We're looking for people with passion, purpose and drive. Not worried about being different, you'll stand by your decisions when you know they're right, challenge the way we do things and be animated about your potential. You'll be a team player with potential leadership skills, able to get the best out of others by building great relationships. Setting goals and driving to achieve them will be par for the course for you.
