But wherever they are or whatever their role - in IT, People, Store Development or Property - our Central Support teams all have a few things in common: they are operationally savvy and work with a focus on our customers.

Our Central Support teams are the backbone of our operations, essential to everything from attracting more great colleagues to help our customers, to maintaining the IT systems that help us to run like clockwork.

  • IT provides the solutions that get our offers and products into our customers’ hands.
  • People (HR) work with our business leaders to recruit, inspire, develop and reward all Halfords colleagues.
  • Store Development takes care of everything in-store, from layout to signage.
  • The Property team look after our stores, finding new ones in great locations and refurbishing those that are already established.
