Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of your Autocentre, you’ll be confident working with everyone from customers to suppliers, and inspiring your team to work smarter and better in everything they do. Much more than that, you’ll aim to bring together a multi-skilled team to ensure every customer feels great about the work we do for them.

What’s even more important than strong leadership is a passion for great customer service. If you have experience with cars, even better. Although if you’re an experienced manager from any background, our full training will soon get you up to speed on what it takes to succeed.

If you’re driven, self-motivated and eager for more, you’ll also find that there are lots of opportunities to move up into a senior or field-based role in the future.

Regional Management

These are big opportunities that offer all the challenge and opportunity you thrive on.

Our Regional General Managers look after between 15 and 20 Autocentres, bringing a flair for leadership that enables teams to meet – and wherever possible – exceed their targets.

While the role offers lots of diversity, your key focus will be getting the best out of your people. That involves looking at both the bigger picture and individual performance to monitor and review progress.

It’s a fast-paced environment where we measure success in a number of ways. So, you’ll need to understand customer needs and inspire colleagues to maximise customer satisfaction, sales and profitability.

So, if you’re a great leader, have drive and passion, and can be both highly organised and flexible in your approach, you’ll not only succeed here, you’ll find lots of opportunities to progress into roles such as Divisional Director, or broaden your experience across Halfords retail.
