Working as a Customer Service Advisor

These are no ordinary Customer Service jobs. Our Advisors are at the heart of our business, taking our customers on journeys every day. So, in return, we invest in getting our people to where they want to be, whether that’s working comfortably and confidently in a specialist area, learning new skills or progressing to management and beyond.

Customer Service Advisors

Go on. Go the extra mile as a Customer Service Advisor.

Our Customer Service Advisors are the face of Halfords, giving customers the knowledge and expertise, along with a welcoming smile and a sense of fun that makes us the destination for people going places. We always go the extra mile: fitting bulbs, blades, batteries and much more.

If you’re confident, have lots of energy and are a real people person, you’ll find it easy to impress and encourage your colleagues. If you like cars, bikes or the great outdoors, you’ll find it a joy to inspire customers, helping them to make more of their journeys. If you have a real passion for retail, and want to learn more as part of a close knit, hands-on team, this could just be the beginning of something really big.

Whether you join us full or part-time, you can have as much responsibility, challenge and opportunity as you like. It’s up to you to take it wherever you want.

All our in-store colleagues can take advantage of Gears, a multi-level training programme that goes from the basics to more advanced and specialist knowledge. Moving through Gears 1-3 also offers the opportunity to enhance your pay – so the immediate rewards are excellent too. Find out more about the Gears training and opportunities to move into management with the Aspire training programme.
